6. Wendy O Williams (1949-1998)

Williams, the lead singer of the 80s American Punk band the Plasmatics was undoubtedly considered the most controversial and revolutionary female singer of those days. She had a solo career going on her. William first tried suicide in 1993 by hammering a knife in her chest, the knife jammed inside her sternum and she changed her decision. She tried killing herself in 1997 attempting to overdose on ephedrine. Eventually, she expired at the age of 48 on April 6, 1998, from a gunshot in a wooded area close to her home.
